Biography
Beltran Borges, M.D.- Post-Doctoral Fellow - Hello! My name is Beltran. I was born and raised in Argentina, where I attended medical school at the National University of Litoral. After graduation, I joined the Center for Maternal-Fetal Precision Medicine and the MacKenzie Lab at UCSF to pursue my interest in translational research. Here, I work on a variety of projects in small and large animal models, as well as taking an active role in our clinical trials and patient outreach strategies. Outside of science I love writing and I hope to publish a novel one day. Dogs always make me happy, and you can usually find me outside going for a run or trying some new food.
